What Are You Trying to Do?

  1. At the first knock, any first response can still reach the main route, but 'Who are you?' is best because it gives +1 Interest.
  2. At the second prompt, ask who she is again; then open the door. Staying silent after revealing your presence causes a generic Death.
  3. At the paper, decide your route: never read any paper if targeting Ending 7; read one if targeting the keyword route.
  4. For the sender question, Scientists is +1, Friend is neutral, Mom is fatal.

Most common causes

  1. 01 If you are at 7/8, you missed one positive choice. The conversation activity can give +2 and is commonly the missing point.
  2. 02 If you are at 8/8 but get Ending 6, you either read a paper or picked up the knife at some point.
  3. 03 Picking up the knife permanently disqualifies Ending 7 for that run, even if you decline to use it later.

How do I get Ending 7?

Ending 7 requires all three conditions at the final normal evaluation: 8/8 Interest, you never read a Paper, and you never picked up the Knife. If you touched any paper or picked up the knife, 8/8 still falls to Ending 6 (Missing).

How do I reach 8/8 Interest?

Use every positive source: first door question +1, ignore the first paper and talk to Mrs +1, Scientists +1, Bedroom Nothing +1, Conversation About You -> Yes -> a +1 entity answer for +2 total, The Hello-ween +1, Honey Toast +1. Total: 8.

Why did I get Missing?
