You're missing exactly one point. Check Conversation first: it can give two separate +1 points. Then confirm Door, Ignore Paper, Scientists, Bedroom, TV, and Honey Toast.

Reading a Paper itself is not an Interest penalty. The important effect is the route change: it blocks Ending 7. You also miss the Ignore-then-talk +1 if you read the first Paper instead.

Taking the Knife is not an Interest minus. It opens the Knife route and blocks Ending 7. Interest only matters later if you use the Knife and refuse to put it down.
